The hotel offers a range of sports and leisure facilities, including an all-year-round swimming pool and jacuzzi, accessible through 7 acres of terraced gardens, and the Phoenicia fitness room to help tone up those muscles. Those keen to enjoy relaxation can take part in a round or 2 of mini-golf under the welcoming shade of cypress trees. The hotel has private parking, a hairdressing salon, jewellers and gift shop. Surrounded by spectacular 16th century bastions, there is a heated outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi with a magnificent views of the harbour.

The restaurant, brasserie, lounge and bars offer guests a choice of Mediterranean, Maltese and continental cuisine and beverages, in either formal or informal settings. Dining at the Phoenix Restaurant offers fine dining with international, Mediterranean and local influences. Pegasus Brasserie offers a casual setting for a more informal dining experience, with French and Mediterranean cuisine. The Club Bar is the place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail on the veranda, or after dinner to savour a fine brandy and an aromatic cigar, smoked in the comfort of an authentic colonial atmosphere with soft background music.

Valletta, the capital city, dates back to the 16th century and is dominated by the Island's Grand Harbour, one of the finest natural ports in Europe.
